Originally from regional WA, Taylor is a trained screen and stage actress in addition to her work as an art educator. Her educational pursuits include a double degree in Contemporary Performance (WAAPA/ECU), various post graduate qualifications in the arts and a Graduate Diploma in Education, specialising in Drama and Visual Arts. In 2023 she will begin her Masters in Screenwriting at the Australian Film Television Radio School (AFTRS).
Taylor has taught for organisations in Perth, Sydney and London both as a primary/secondary school teacher and a Speech, Drama and Dance teacher. She has worked with children on Eisteddfod pieces, Trinity College of London and Australian Speech Communication Association (ASCA) examinations.
Taylor has written, directed and choreographed theatre pieces for K - Y6 Holiday productions. This is in addition to her work as an acting coach. She recently worked with lead actor, Traccin Rameka on his debut feature film 'Mercy of Others'.
Taylor has successfully initiated an 'Acting for Camera' program at The Speech and Drama Studio (MLC School) and is looking forward to extending this program further.
She is determined to promote arts accessibility for regional areas and continue developing the communication and performance skills of her students.

Performance
INDIVIDUALISED LESSONS
Sessions are tailored to the individual needs and interests of the student/s and focused on strengthening their performance abilities and acting skills. Lessons can incorporate poetry, prose and drama text. Verbal and non-verbal communication skills and characterisation will be explored.

Communication
INDIVIDUALISED LESSONS
Sessions are tailored to the individual needs and interests of the student/s and focused on strengthening their public speaking and communication skills. This is a 30 minute one-one online session where students will further develop their vocal skills while working on text and stimulus provided by their teacher.

Self Taping 101

This is a 5-session online program where students will develop a greater understanding as to what a self-tape entails while strengthening their acting and characterisation abilities. This is done through the presentation and workshopping of a monologue (where a single character is speaking) OR scene work (two characters talking).
