FROM LITTLE THINGS, BIG THINGS GROW

Hi! I'm an Australian-based writer, actor, filmmaker, and teacher with an infinite love for the creative industries. A West Coast girl with enough of an Italian and British upbringing to still be confused by an Australian Christmas menu.

I aim to create character-driven stories that engage local and international audiences seeking relatability, emotional truth, and meaningful representation on screen. My work is characterised by emotionally driven narratives that examine fractured relationships, love, loss, and the vulnerability required to navigate personal transformation. Through storytelling, I am interested in exploring the ways people seek connection, understanding, and belonging in the face of extreme adversity.

Originally from regional Western Australia, I have built a multidisciplinary career across screen production, performance, and arts education. I am a trained screen and stage actor in addition to my work as a filmmaker and educator. My educational pursuits include a Master of Arts in Screenwriting from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), a Double Degree in Contemporary Performance (WAAPA/ECU), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Drama and Visual Arts), and postgraduate qualifications in Arts Management (Deakin University) and Art History and Curatorial Studies (ANU). My education specialities include Screen Acting, Theatresports, Devising, Writing and Physical Theatre/Dance in addition to Drama and Communication skills (Trinity College of London/ASCA).

My screen credits include producing, production design, and acting coaching on Damien Giglietta's feature film Mercy of Others (2022), acting in James Demitri's feature film Misplaced (2021) starring Matt Levett, and writing, directing, producing, and starring in the smartphone short film Packet Mix (2021), which premiered at the SF3 SmartFone Flick Fest. Additional credits include executive producing and co-starring in Patrick Townsend's short film The Purchase (2021), available to view on popular YouTube channel Omeletto, and acting in Taron Lexton's forthcoming US feature film Nomad.

My latest writing credits include the short film 'Ally' (2023) a proof of concept for my science fiction drama feature film 'Vestige', the short film musical 'Interlude' and the musical drama feature film 'Southbound Sisters'. My AFTRS research project centred around the inclusion of interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the process of script development. Alongside my creative practice, I work as a guest lecturer in Screenwriting at AFTRS and as a co-curricular Speech and Drama teacher at MLC School, where I created and facilitate the Acting for Camera program and serve as the school's Theatresports coach. I am passionate about mentoring emerging artists and advocating for greater accessibility to arts education, particularly within regional communities.

My latest creative endeavour is the podcast 3AM Film Chats, where filmmaker Damien Giglietta and I deliver an honest, uncensored look at independent filmmaking, creativity, and life in the screen industry.

I am determined to continue developing my craft, champion arts accessibility, and embrace all that this incredible industry has to offer.
